Cinnamon Date Cake
Ingredients:
For Cake:

2 cups of California Dried Fruit Cinnamon Date Spread

3 cups flour
-
4 eggs, beaten
-
1 cup brown sugar
-
1 tbsp ground cinnamon
-
1 tsp baking powder
-
Pinch of salt
-
¾ cup of butter
For Glaze:
-
2 tbsp granulated sugar
-
2 tbsp brown sugar
-
1 tbsp cinnamon
-
2 tbsp melted butter
Preparations:
Preheat oven to 350℉.
In a large bowl, add dry ingredients, and mix gently with a fork.
Add in wet ingredients, beat with hand mixer. Pour into a greased, slightly floured floured metal loaf pan
Bake for 40 to 50 minutes.
For glaze, Mix all ingredients and brush on top of cake.
Cocoa Date Brownies
Ingredients:

½ cup sugar
-
1 egg
-
¼ tsp vanilla
-
¼ cup butter
-
2 tbsp + 2 tsp cocoa powder
-
⅛ tsp salt
-
3 tsp California Dried Fruit Cocoa Date Spread
Preparations:
Preheat oven to 350℉.
Beat sugar, eggs, and vanilla.
Pour dry mix into wet mix. Add Cocoa Date.
Bake 15-20 minutes.
Date Bars
Ingredients:
Date Filling:

3 cups California Dried Fruit Date Spread

1 ½ cups water
-
¼ cup granulated sugar
Bars:
-
1 cup packed brown sugar
-
1 cup butter, softened
-
1 ¾ cups flour
-
1 ½ cups oats
-
½ teaspoon baking soda
-
½ teaspoon salt
Preparations:
Preheat oven to 400℉.
In a saucepan, cook filling ingredients over low heat, stirring constantly.
In a large bowl, stir brown sugar and butter until well mixed. Stir in flour, oats, baking soda, and salt until crumbly. Press half of the crumb mixture evenly in the bottom of the pan. Spread with filling. Top with remaining crumb mixture.
Bake 25-30 minutes or until light brown in a greased 13x9 pan.
